Engineer Randa el-Minshawi, First Assistant to the Prime Minister said President Abdel Fattah El Sisi attaches great attention to Historic Cairo Rehabilitation Project.
During an inspection tour Monday by the assistant prime minister and Cairo Governor Khaled Abdel-Aal of a number of restoration projects in Ancient Cairo, el-Minshawi said President Sisi is keen on following up work at all Old Cairo rejuvenation ventures to restore the old city’s glamor and help preserve its urban and historic nature, with a view to rendering Old Cairo a luring tourist landmark.
She also referred to Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli’s regular visits to the project’s restoration sites to ensure work would
be finalised as scheduled, in line with the president’s directives in this regard.
