EgyptAir Maintenance and Engineering has successfully passed the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) inspection at its Cairo airport sites for the 19th consecutive year. This inspection, part of regular monitoring by major international civil aviation authorities, aims to ensure adherence to the highest safety and quality standards.

Inspectors audited aircraft technical records to verify the safety of technical procedures, compliance with manufacturers’ instructions, and continuous monitoring of aircraft technical conditions. The inspection encompassed a review of all technical activities, including quality work, aircraft maintenance, overhaul of mechanical units, device maintenance, engine overhaul, spare parts, tools, and machines. Additionally, discussions with staff members were conducted to ensure their familiarity with all technical aspects and their adherence to quality documents as per mandatory regulations.
