CAIRO – Egyptian Emigration Minister Soha Gendi announced holding the fifth conference of Egyptian expats on August 4-5.
In a statement on Thursday, the Ministry of State for Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs said that minister held preparatory meetings with the ministry’s leaderships.
Gendi underlined that the conference should come up with an outcome meeting the aspirations of Egyptians abroad.
She underlined the importance of coordination with the ministries and state authorities concerned.
The minister noted that a link for registering for the conference was launched with deadline for registration on July 1.
Gendi underlined keenness on following up all details about the conference to build on the success of the two previous editions which witnessed the highest turnout since the launch of the conference.
She said the conference will remain a sustainable platform for direct communication with Egyptian expats to realise their aspirations within the framework of the state’s 2030 sustainable development plan.
