EgyptAir participated in the Egyptian Pavilion at the 30th edition of the largest international tourism exhibition in Moscow, “30 years Mitt,” held at the Crocus International Exhibition Centre. The Egyptian Pavilion featured various Egyptian tourist establishments, hotels, and tourism companies.
The exhibition, a key event in the tourism and travel industry in the Russian market, saw the participation of approximately 768 exhibitor companies from 21 countries and 57 Russian regions. These included leading travel agencies, tour operators, cruise agencies, camping travel agencies, tourism and hospitality companies, conference organizers, among others, along with around 15,000 visitors and 170 international speakers.
Amr El-Qadi, President of the Egyptian General Authority for Tourism Promotion, and Ambassador Nazih Al-Najari, Egypt’s Ambassador to Moscow, visited EgyptAir’s booth within the Egyptian Pavilion. They were accompanied by Mohamed El-Qadi, Director of EgyptAir’s Moscow office, who held several professional meetings with tour operators in the Russian market.
These meetings aimed to showcase EgyptAir’s latest programmes and services to attract more visitors from Russia, as Russia ranks second in the number of tourists visiting Egypt. Discussions also revolved around co-operation to promote Egypt’s tourist destinations, known for their rich historical and archaeological heritage, making Egypt a preferred destination for Russian tourists.
It’s worth mentioning that EgyptAir operates two daily flights to Moscow using Boeing B737-8 aircraft.
