Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi voiced Thursday his appreciation for Egyptian women’s ultimate sacrifices and distinguished national role.
In his speech during a ceremony marking celebration of Egyptian Women’s Day at Al-Manara International Conference Center, the president said Egyptian woman sets every day a live example of an embodiment model reflecting highest meanings of giving and epitomizing the definition of selfless service and sacrifice in order to preserve her family and her country.
Egyptian woman is an essential pillar for security and stability in the homeland and a source of inspiration of endless sacrifices, as she has spared no effort for the sake of preserving her country’s progress and stability, added the president.
President Sisi said Egyptian women will always remain an essential pillar for the security and stability of the country.
Women are always source of inspiration for others and they always work earnestly to protect and serve their families and homeland.
Egyptian women also make great sacrifices in different domains day after day, the president said, noting that such a celebration aims to highlight the great role played by women to serve homeland.
The president stated that he issued directives for establishing a family care fund to help woman continue living her life in case that her husband left her alone over any marital discord.
President Sisi underlined the necessity of drafting legislation and laws that guarantee the protection of women.
The president said internal conditions are stable in Egypt and getting better, while there is a thorough plan to overcome crises and stabilize prices of commodities.
The state is committed to backing free economy, but the government will not hesitate to play its role on striking balance in markets once again.
The president reaffirmed the need for having unity among the state-run institutions, media, intellectuals, mosques, churches and families to raise awareness among citizens to protect Egypt.
The president stressed that the army’s operation in Sinai aimed to protect 100 million citizens and safeguard the future of the nation.
Sisi assured all citizens that Egypt works earnestly to settle the crises in the region through ceasing fire, releasing prisoners, reconstructing Gaza Strip and finding a lasting solution to the Palestinian cause.
The president lauded the participation of Egyptian media figure Safaa Abul Saoud in this celebration.
