Sphinx International Airport on Saturday received first flight of Turkish Pegasus Airlines carrying 170 passengers from Istanbul airport.
This comes within the state’s plan to activate and attract more tourism to Egypt.
Pegasus Airlines announced operating five weekly flights to Egypt.
The public relations team at the airport received the passengers with flowers and souvenirs.
Sphinx International Airport witnessed operating a number of regular and irregular flights of aviation companies from all over the world.
