EL ARISH – Egypt works diligently and with all integrity to secure the unimpeded flow of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip, head of the Sinai Red Crescent Khaled Ziad said commenting on US and Israeli allegations on Egypt hindering flow of relief aid into the Gaza Strip.
During an interview over the phone Sunday with “Al Haya El Youm” program, the Red Crescent official said, no one can question Egypt’s role towards the Gaza Strip.
“We will continue to deliver humanitarian assistance into the Gaza Strip through all axes,” Ziad said.
He added that Egypt offered triple the aid entering the Gaza Strip.
The US Foreign Secretary and members of the US Senate have paid a visit to Rafah crossing and have even seen the trucks piled up in front of the crossing by themselves, said the official.
