Social Solidarity Minister Nevine El Kabbag on Thursday inaugurated the 9th annual conference of Business Women of Egypt 21 (BWE21) Association, on behalf of Prime Minister Mostafa Madoubli at the Arab League (AL) premises in Cairo.
In her speech, Kabbag said the conference comes at a time when Arab women in conflict areas experience difficult circumstances, lauding the great sacrifices made by Palestinian women and children in the Gaza Strip.
The minister called for an urgent economic awakening in the Arab region that includes stimulating production, raising capital turnover, providing operating tools, modernizing industries, qualifying productive cadres, establishing productive blocs and cooperatives and strengthening financial inclusion, in addition to integrating technology and digitization into the Arab market.
She noted that Egypt and Arab states pay special attention to achieving the sustainable economic development that gives a greater role to the private sector to address health, social and economic and climate challenges.
