Qatari Minister of State for International Co-operation Lolwah al-Khater lauded Egypt’s support for the Palestinian people.
Since the outbreak of the violence in the Gaza Strip, Egypt has emerged as one of the main supporters to the Palestinians, she added during her meeting with Egypt’s Health and Population Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar in Qatar. The two sides discussed ways of increasing health aid offered by Egypt and Qatar to Gaza.
In a statement on Sunday, Health Ministry Spokesman Hossam Abdel Ghaffar said that the minister checked on the Palestinians who were injured and receive treatments in a number of Qatari hospitals.
The two ministers also discussed ways of increasing co-operation and coordination between Egypt and Qatar in order to deliver medical aid to the Palestinians, added the spokesman.
