Egypt’s Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy Mohamed Shaker Wednesday discussed with Stephan May, the CEO of the Electrification and Automation Business Unit at Siemens in Germany and Mostafa el Bagoury, the CEO of Siemens in Egypt and their accompanying delegation ways of boosting co-operation between the Egyptian electricity and renewable energy sector and Siemens.
Shaker commended distinguished and unique relations between the two sides in the different electricity fields, according to a statement by the ministry.
He welcomed the increase in the volume of co-operation with the company to capitalize on its greater experiences in the domains of electricity and energy.
May commended the rapid and tangible development in electricity projects and achievements made by the sector and said he is looking forward to promoting cooperation with the electricity sector in the country.
Bagoury asserted the company’s commitment to transfer smart solutions to raise efficiency of energy management as part of the Egyptian state’s action plans to establish cities of the fourth generation and sustainable development.
