NOUAKCHOTT – Egyptian Awqaf Minister Mokhtar Gomaa has stressed that President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s call to renew the religious discourse has been echoed all over the world.
The minister made the remarks in statements to MENA on Thursday before leaving to Mauritania to attend the African Conference for Peace.
He asserted that Sisi’s call has contributed to making large-scale ideological, scientific, intellectual and religious momentum.
Gomaa also shed light on the Awqaf Ministry’s great efforts to put into effect the president’s directives through sending religious missions to different countries and holding relevant training courses.
He added that the ministry organized several conferences, training sessions of preachers, noting that the ministry published 460 translated books in different languages, including English, French, and German.
