SHARM EL-SHEIKH – Arab Parliament (AP) speaker Adel Assoumi on Wednesday called for preparing a comprehensive parliamentary guide including the best measures for combating corruption at national, regional and international levels.
Addressing a session on the role of national parliaments in preventing corruption organised by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime in the presence of representatives of regional parliaments and international organisations, Assoumi called for promoting co-operation to fight corruption.
He expressed the the Arab Parliament’s keenness on exchanging expertise in the field of combating corruption.
