GIZA- President Abdel Fattah El Sisi Friday embarked on an inspection tour of Giza governorate after the end of the joint tripartite summit talks with the Spanish and Belgian prime ministers.
Presidential Spokesman Ahmed Fahmy said the tour comes as part of the president’s utmost keenness on regularly following upon all development efforts in the state.
Sisi inspected the implementation works of Amr ibn Al-As Axis in Giza
The axis aims to ease traffic congestion around Haram, Faisal, Talbeya, Orouba and Mariouteya.
The first phase of the axis will be around 4.5km in length, with further extensions planned. The axis will consist of three lanes each in both directions.
The surrounding area is being developed to accommodate a number of restaurants, shops and parking lots.
The first phase of the axis will connect the southern part of the Ring Road with Haram Street.
The next phase will connect to the Ring Road’s northern parts.
