Egypt’s Sports and Youth Minister Ashraf Sobhi asserted that Egypt had witnessed great developments concerning sports constructions and equipment that enables it to host the most important sports events including the 2036 Olympics.
This came in a meeting with board of directors of the Egyptian Olympic Committee, led by Hisham Hatab, to discuss the file of Egypt’s hosting to the 2036 Olympics.
During the meeting, the minister announced that Egypt International Olympic City will be finalized soon after directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
Sobhi also attended a meeting with international advisors and specialists in the field of preparing such files in which they discussed steps required to submit Egypt’s file to organize the international sports event.
