Minister of State for Immigration and Egyptians Abroad Affairs Soha Gendi asserted she is following up on measures for establishing the Egyptians Abroad for Investment Company, which is considered the most important achievement by the ministry.
Gendi’s remarks were made at a meeting with a number of Egyptian investors abroad, the founders of the corporation via videoconferencing on Saturday.
In a press release, Gendi said the company has been a key demand by Egyptians living abroad to do business in their homeland during the third edition of the Egyptian Entities Abroad Conference.
The corporation will be run by Egyptian expats and the Emigration Ministry is mainly contributing to providing logistic support and removing any obstacles facing the founders in cooperation and coordination with the bodies concerned, she added in the note.
