NAC inauguration to represents declaring new republic

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has paid tribute to the brave men of the Armed Forces, regardless of their ranks and degrees, for the efforts and sacrifices they made in order to preserve the nation’s capabilities and gains.

The president also greeted the loyal policemen for their efforts to protect Egypt’s internal security and provide an appropriate environment for stability so that the rest of the state’s apparatus and institutions can perform the role assigned to them.

Addressing the Martyrs’ Day celebrations under the title “Were it not for them, we would not be here”, the president also thanked the Egyptian government and all state institutions for their outstanding performance, setting an example in their ability to wisely manage crises and provide all medical and logistical supplies for citizens to cope with the repercussions of the coronavirus pandemic, Presidency Spokesman Ambassador Bassam Radi said.

President Sisi also said that what Egypt achieved throughout its national history confirms that its sacred land can never be depleted of heroes.

“Just as the past was replete with the glories of the ancestors, the present also comes with the achievements of the grandchildren,” the president told the gathering.

He added that had it not been for the pure blood that was poured out for the sake of homeland security, it would have never been possible to create an appropriate, stable and safe environment for Egypt to embark on achieving the comprehensive development that is taking place in all parts of the country.

President Sisi said that Egypt has also comprehended all turbulent events and developments in the region, so it built a solid fence of strength, awareness and perception, with which it fortified its people with the support of the army.

President Sisi said that the inauguration of new administrative capital (NAC) represents declaring a new republic and the birth of a new country.

During the next few years, the government is preparing to develop the Egyptian countryside for providing “a decent life” … for nearly 58 million people .

The president also saluted the families of the martyrs who lost a son, father, husband, or a brother. “You are in the mind and heart of Egypt. We will not let you face life alone. We will be with you in every step you take. If you have lost a dear family member, I assure you that all of Egyptians are your family.”

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi met, at the end of the Martyrs’ Day celebrations, with Defence Minister General Mohamed Zaki, Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Mohamed Farid along with Afmed Forces commanders, non-commissioned officers and soldiers.
