CAIRO – Following calls by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi the Awqaf Ministry is preparing for an inter-religious conference to promote humanitarian dialogue, says Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa.
Speaking in a press conference Sunday, the awqaf minister said the conference will be held on March 13-14 in exceptional circumstances, noting that it is meant to promote dialogue rather than conflict.
An international center for dialogue will be established in Egypt, Gomaa told reporters, adding that it will adopt a social and educational approach based on dialogue.
He said that 75 international figures will be taking part in the event, during which 31 studies and 10 research papers will be tackled
