CAIRO – Egypt hosted on Saturday the World Cities Day conference in Luxor, the Cabinet’s Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC) pointed out in an infographic report, elaborating the activities of the event, celebrated on October 31 every year.
The infographic report stated that the New Urban Communities Authority had won the United Nations Human Settlements Program’s (UN-Habitat) award, out of 170 institutions nominated for this prestigious prize.
The award culminated the efforts and success of the New Urban Communities Authority in providing homes for various segments of the Egyptian society, which contributes to fulfilling the sustainable development goals in alignment with Egypt Vision 2030, according to the center.
