President Sisi also praised the historical relations that bind the two countries and expressed Egypt’s keenness to enhance coordination and consultation with Pakistan on various regional issues and issues of common interest, including in the foremost the fight against terrorism and extremist ideology, which is one of the most important challenges facing the two countries.

The Pakistani foreign minister, meanwhile, conveyed to President Sisi a message from Pakistani President Arif Alvi, which included an invitation to Sisi to visit Pakistan, as part of the deep relations binding the two friendly countries and peoples.

He also said that Pakistan is looking forward to exploring new vistas for bilateral cooperation with Egypt, asserting that the stability of Egypt is a pillar of stability in the Middle East and the Muslim world in general.
