MARSA MATROUH, Egypt – Marsa Matrouh Governor Khaled Shoaib said that the cities of the governorate will be covered in the upcoming phase of the “Decent Life” presidential initiative after the completion of the first phase of the project, including 11 villages.
A detailed study is carried out to determine the needs of all cities and villages in the governorate and sort out priorities ahead of the implementation of the upcoming phase of the initiative, the governor said during a tour of El-Nasr village, some 40 km west of Marsa Matrouh city.
Launched by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, the Decent Life project, which aims at upgrading all aspects of life in 4,584 villages in all governorates that represent 58% of Egypt’s population. Its cost is estimated at around EGP 700 billion.
