Egypt will receive the first shipment of Johnson & Johnson Covid vaccine Monday, the Health Ministry said Sunday.

The doses should be distributed to vaccination centers across Egypt, it added. The Ministry urged citizens to register for vaccine shots through its website http://egcovac.mohp.gov.eg and its hotline 15335.

Up to five million citizens have been vaccinated out of 10 million people who have registered on the country’s vaccination programme, according to health ministry officials.
