Activating tourism between Egypt and Serbia was one of the items on the agenda of official talks yesterday.

South Sinai Governor Khaled Fouda, who is visiting Serbia with a high-profile business delegation, met with the head of the Serbian Civil Aviation Authority and Deputy Minister of Transport in Serbia to discuss operating regular flights between Belgrade and Sharm el-Sheikh at the earliest opportunity to boost tourism in both countries.

Fouda also met with Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabić to discuss ways to activate tourism between the two countries in addition to promoting medical tourism.

Discussions also covered means of boosting investment and trade ties between Cairo and Belgrade.

Brnabić said she was closely following up development projects underway in Egypt under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
