ATHENS-King Abdullah II of Jordan was meeting Wednesday in Athens with the leaders of Greece and Cyprus as part of regular high-level contacts launched between the three Mediterranean countries in 2018.

King Abdullah II of Jordan held a trilateral summit with Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and Cyprus President Nikos Anastasiades, in Athens .

Held for the third time, the summit covers means to advance cooperation among the three countries across all sectors, in addition to the latest regional and international developments, said Jordan’s PETRA news agency.

The first trilateral Jordanian-Greek-Cypriot summit was held in Nicosia in January 2018, while the second one was held in April 2019 in Amman.
