Egypt’s Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy Mohamed Shaker, French Ambassador in Cairo Marc Barety and the CEO of EDF Middle East Luc Koechlin discussed on Wednesday ways of boosting bilateral co-operation and tapping investment chances between the Egyptian electricity sector and the French company.
The meeting examined means of capitalising on the French company’s expertise in the different electricity and energy fields.
In statements, Shaker commended distinguished political relations between Egypt and France and welcomed co-operation with the French companies.
In turn, the French diplomat hailed distinguished ties between Egypt and France.
For his part, Koechlin praised greater experiences of the Egyptian electricity and renewable energy sector on all fronts.
