Egypt’s Tourism and Antiquities Minister Ahmed Eissa inspected the latest developments in the renovation process of the Pillar Hall in Karnak Temple in Luxor.
The minister also inspected visitors’ center in the temple and followed up the implementation of the e-payment system applied at outlets selling entry tickets to the area.
During the tour, he listened to Mostafa Waziri, the Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities, concerning the renovation of the Pillar Hall that includes 134 pillars.
The minister hailed the Egyptian team renovating the pillars, describing the results as a distinguished achievement.
