Egypt’s Meteorological Authority (EMA) said weather conditions will improve throughout the current week despite hot weather during the day.
According to the Egyptian Meteorological Authority, hot weather will prevail in Greater Cairo and the North Coast, while temperatures will rise significantly in South Sinai and the southern regions.
The authority emphasized that winds are picking up across most regions, providing some relief.
It also urged those visiting the north coasts of Egypt to continue exercising caution as waves reach heights of 2 to 2.5 metres.
The weather in cities along the Red Sea will be hot in the morning; moderately humid at night. Sea waves will rise to heights ranging from 1.5 to 2.5 metres.
Greater Cairo and the Nile Delta will experience daily highs of 33 to 34 degrees from Sunday to Friday. Temperatures will, however, feel more like 35-36 degrees.
Meanwhile, the North Coast will see highs between 30-31 degrees, with temperatures feeling more like 34 degrees.
In Upper Egypt, highs in Luxor and Aswan range from 42-43 degrees but feel more like 43-44 degrees.
