Egyptian Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation Hani Sweilam expressed his ministry’s keenness on maintaining water facilities to improve the water system management.
This came during a meeting held by the minister on Tuesday with aides to follow up on measures taken to maintain water facilities nationwide.
The minister directed his aides to prepare a training programme for the engineers of the Irrigation Ministry to raise their efficiency regarding maintenance and rehabilitation works to preserve the existing water facilities, which are estimated at more than 50,000 water facilities nationwide.
