Commander-in-Chief of the Egyptian Armed Forces, Minister of Defense and Military Production, General Mohamed Zaki, has attended the main phase of the tactical command centres project of the Third Field Army.
The drills were part of the annual training plan of the Armed Forces formations and units, the military spokesman said in a statement on its social media accounts.
Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Lieutenant General Osama Askar attended the drills, together with commanders of the main branches, and a host of senior other Armed forces commanders.
Addressing the event, Commander of the Third Filed Army, Staff Major General Sherid Al Araishi, stressed keennessof the army personnel on achieving the highest level of efficiency and combat readiness in a manner that would enable them to carry out all missions assigned to them for defending the nation regardless of all sacrifices.
Minister Zakri discussed with a number of the participating commanders and officers the method of implementing their missions, and decision-making process in case of emergencies during operations.
He also commended the elevated level demonstrated by the elements taking part in the drills, which reflected high combat readiness and distinguished training and professionalism in carrying out missions.
Meanwhile, Minister Zaki met a host of the Third Field Army combatants and conveyed to them the greetings of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi. He also reviewed several issues pertaining to the Armed Forces efforts to protect Egypt’s national security.
