The Ambassadors program of the ‘Enhancing Climate Change Adaptation in the North Coast and Nile Delta Regions in Egypt’ Project aims to train qualified ambassadors for the project, Irrigation Minister Hany Sowialam said.
The minister on Thursday received a report on the launch of the program in the presence of 40 cadres concerned with the domain of integrated management of the coastal areas on the Mediterranean.
He pointed out the project covers a number of training issues related to the fields of communications and mass media, among others, to qualify leading figures capable of overcoming relevant challenges and enforcing the principles of participation and integration with partners to realize the desired goals.
The Irrigation Ministry works on expanding the use of nature-based solutions in the coastal areas, the minister added.
