ISMAILIA, Egypt – Chairman of the Suez Canal Authority Osama Rabie asserted that the authority is exerting all possible efforts to maximize its assets and resources and open up new cooperation horizons with its success partners in order to implement its promising strategy.
These remarks were made during the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between SCA and Anchorage Investments to implement an industrial complex for petrochemicals on SCA-owned land in Al Ain Al Sokhna.
In a statement, SCA said the MoU stipulated that Anchorage will set up an industrial factory on a plot of land located northwest the Gulf of Suez.
It said that this important agreement comes as part of SCA’s efforts to diversify its resources and enhance development plans in the Suez Canal region, in addition to providing job opportunities for youths.
Meanwhile, CEO of Anchorage Ahmed Moharam voiced gratitude over such fruitful cooperation with SCA and said that his company is ready for doing more business with it in any future plans.
Chief of Operation Management at SCA Nivaan Emad Eldin signed the MoU for the SCA, while Director of the Development Department at Anchorage signed for his company.
