Egypt’s Health Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar had talks with French Ambassador to Egypt Marc Baréty and a delegation from the French Development Agency (AFD) on cooperation in health projects.
The meeting tackled joint projects being implemented by the ministry and the French agency, Health Ministry Spokesman Hossam Abdel Ghaffar said.
He added that the two sides discussed supporting the project of primary care units and centers.
He added that the talks tackled exchanging expertise with France within the framework of supporting the government in implementing the comprehensive health insurance project.
The minister underlined the importance of fruitful cooperation with the French side and the AFD – which is the development partner in the health sector.
