WASHINGTON – US Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman met with NATO Deputy Secretary General Mircea Geoana in Washington, D.C, the US Department of State said in a press release.
Sherman and Geoana discussed preparations for the July 11-12 NATO Summit in Vilnius and our efforts to sustain support for Ukraine.
They welcomed Finland’s recent accession as NATO’s newest Ally and reiterated their belief that Sweden is ready to join the Alliance now, the note added.
