RAMALLAH – Nine Palestinians were injured Thursday morning and dozens suffocated during confrontations that erupted in the towns of Beit Rima and Nabi Saleh, northwest of the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah, WAFA reported quoting eyewitnesses.
Israeli forces raided the Beit Rima town late at night, sparking confrontations, which resulted in injuring six Palestinians in the lower body parts.
Dozens of Palestinians suffered from suffocation due to inhaling the tear gas bombs fired at them by Israeli soldiers around their houses.
Local sources said that the Israeli forces deliberately set a vehicle owned by a Palestinian resident on fire after targeting with several gas bombs, adding that damage was caused to several properties owned by Palestinians.
Meanwhile, three Palestinians were injured by Israeli gunfire during confrontations in Nabi Saleh town.
