President Abdel Fattah El Sisi called for a detailed periodic follow-up of the various construction works and projects in the New Administrative Capital so that they can be completed according to the set timetables while adhering to the highest quality and safety standards and in accordance with the most up-to-date technological systems.
The president’s remarks came during his meeting with Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli as well as a host of ministers and top government officials, Presidency Spokesman Ambassador Bassam Radi said.
During the meeting, the President said that this would make the government’s relocation to the new capital a comprehensive upgrade of the state’s administrative apparatus.
He also called for training government staff on how to use modern scientific methods in management and evaluating them according to a scientific method to select the best elements. The President also stressed the importance of completing all aspects of the digital and information infrastructure of the government quarter of the New Administrative Capital.
The president also reviewed the executive position of the infrastructure of the New Administrative Capital, including its facilities, roads and internal axes, as well as the main residential complexes and the government quarter.
He also discussed efforts to connect the axes and roads of the New Administrative Capital with all neighbourhoods and sectors of Greater Cairo, through modern means of transportation.
